Flexible pricing for student headshots
Having worked with child and student actors for over 10 years, I've had the privilege of seeing how they grow both as performers and as people, as they come back over the years to get their headshots updated.
But because they change so quickly, I know what an expensive business it can be for parents, when most headshot sessions come as packages where they're obliged to buy a set number of images.
So, I've decided to launch a PAY-PER-IMAGE session, allowing my clients to keep their images constantly up to date without breaking the bank, and with no commitment to buy more than one image.
Or if you’ve got two siblings or friendship pairs, you can save a bit of money but booking the SHARED SESSION which includes 3 retouched images per person.

Kirsty Yates, Careers Manager, ICTheatre
Here at ICTheatre we have been incredibly lucky to collaborate with David on our third year headshots for the last three years. As the students approach the point where they leave university as trained professionals it is vital that they have a headshot that serves them well. The experience of having headshots taken for the first time can be daunting and confusing but David overcomes this by taking all the fear out of the situation.
He spends time building rapport, chatting with the students, putting them at ease and making sure they are comfortable every step of the way. The results are always shots that are infused with all the character and personality you want to see from these young creatives. David achieves so much in a short space of time and I am confident that the students all learn a huge amount from their first headshot experience with him.
Working with student actors
I’m lucky enough to work with a range of drama schools, educational institutions and acting management agencies, who ask me to come on-site with my mobile studio every year to either provide their students with headshot training, or to shoot their professional headshots for their Spotlight profiles, and increase their chances of being invited for castings.
Having studio headshots taken for the first time can be a very intimidating prospect, and clients have told me that if their first experience hasn’t gone well, it can leave them feeling traumatised about having their headshots taken again in the future!
So my first priority, whatever a client’s level of experience, is to help them feel relaxed and comfortable with the process and help them understand what to expect. And throughout the session, I’ll give them a huge amount of guidance and support to help ensure that their headshots give them the very best chance of securing auditions in this highly competitive industry.
